私は、人々に使い古された物と皮膚の型の収集、その人々に関するエピソードを基に、「そ れぞれのかたりて」をテーマにインスタレーションを制作しています。

使い古されていくに つれて、少しずつ色褪せ、歪んでいく衣服や家具。それは私達の日々の一部であり、私たち の癖や匂いといった特徴に寄り添うかのように、身体性を帯びていきます。 また、皮膚は時間が経つにつれて、剝がれ、少しずつ生え変わり、絶えず私たちの体内外で、 身体を消費させながら、毎日、毎時、毎分と、誕生と死別を繰り返しているように思えます。 時間と共に確実に変化し、ある時には突然目の前から喪失する私達の「日々」や「親しい 人々」、そして「自身」。これらが、点在した部屋や景色に、私達は喪失した存在達を見るこ とがあります。それは、その存在達への愛なのか。それとも後悔なのか…。

忘れゆく何気なくも、大切な「日々」、そ して存在として喪失しても尚、私達の前にあり続けることとは。私達が持つ喪失との共生に ついて、内省的な対峙を試みています。






I create installations on the theme of ‘Each Tale’ based on the collection of objects and skin moulds used by people and episodes related to these people. Clothes and furniture gradually fade and become distorted as they are used. They are part of our everyday life and take on a physicality, as if they were our habits and smells. Skin also seems to be born and bereaved every day, every hour, every minute, as it peels off, grows back little by little, and is constantly consumed by our bodies, inside and outside of us. Our ‘days’, our ‘loved ones’ and our ‘selves’ change steadily with time and are sometimes suddenly lost before our eyes. In the rooms and landscapes dotted with these, we sometimes see lost beings. Is it love for them? Or is it regret?

What is it that we continue to have in front of us, even though we have lost them as beings? The film attempts an introspective confrontation with the symbiosis we have with loss.
